Dental Assistance Program

Year 2025-2026:
12 Client’s (40% of shelter capacity) received support obtaining CDCP Coverage

Of those 12, 8 (66% of applicants) Clients received shelter support with connecting to dental clinics, managing appointments, transportation, etc

Of those 8, 2 transitioned out of the shelter and into independent living, All clients that continued working with the St Simon’s Dental Program (7 clients) completed 100% of the essential dental work they needed within the first year and now only need follow ups/cleanings

Year 2026-2027
All Clients were reminded to renew their coverage, 7 Clients requested and received help from the shelter to renew their CDCP applications, others reported completing it themselves or did not respond
3 new Clients have received help submitting their CDCP application for the first time this year
